Amazing. The service was fast, the food was incredible, and the our waitress was upbeat and very pleasant. I have had many a grilled sandwich, but this by far was the greatest. If you're ever in town, stop there.

Food options on a Sunday are pretty sparse in lovely Paradise, but we were sure glad we ventured upon The Inn. The quality of cuisine was amazing. Not your standard pub grub by any stretch. I heartily recommend the pea soup, if available. Only one salad was available (the Spinach whatchamacallit), but it was a winner too. The place may have felt like a log cabin, but the eating experience was top shelf. Too many flies, though. Learned a new word too: "Gastropub"... I like it.
Absolutely fantastic. We left Mackinac for a quick day trip up to Paradise and White Fish Point and were looking for a bite to eat. We chanced upon The Inn Gastropub & Smokehouse and were absolutely floored with the quality, freshness, and creativity of the food. It's proper metropolitan fare, but also very accessible to folks who just want delicious comfort food. Everything is house made fresh (with the exception of the sandwich buns, the owner says). This place is owned by the grandson of the previous proprietors. I spoke with him after our meal and learned that he was an executive chef at a number of restaurants out of state before returning to Paradise to refresh the family business. His passion for quality of food is very evident! (And, frankly, regarding prices - food of this quality is generally more expensive - we found it very reasonable)
Only place open after we checked in to the Paradise Hotel, which i would visit again. Food was very pricey and didn't come with sides. Fries and cole slaw were extra...fries were over cooked, cole slaw was inedible, absolutely no flavor, raw cabbage and carrots, no mix. Waitress was friendly but mixed up our bill, ended up paying for another tables dinner and drinks, double what our meal cost, went back the next day to clear it up, the owner said he credited my account and even gave me a refund receipt, but the money never showed back in my account and now I can't get a hold of anyone. Definitely will not go back and will not recommend this place to anyone. Patronize at your own discretion.
