The staff here were extremely nice but the menu was small and the food was underwhelming. We had breakfast here and my guess is that everything from the pancake to the hash browns and sausage were from the freezer. I heard the waitress tell another table they could only order French toast if it was on the truck that had just backed in. I wanted to grab the loaf of fresh bread up front, an egg and show them how easy it was to make from scratch. The pancake came out alone before the rest of my food and our table's orders sporadically arrived so we were unable to eat together.

Stopped for a bite to eat while visiting the area. Staff were friendly, setting is small but clean, and the food was good! The baked goods looked fabulous, but we had to pass...maybe next time! Don't hesitate to stop in here when you pass through Paradise.
Loved the atmosphere, cordial polite and attentive. The shop is mixed use as a general store for tourist items, a bakery and eats. Breakfast was outstanding in quality and quantity. We left satisfied and ready to hit the trails for waterfall viewing.
Simply the best homemade pies! We make the trip up several times each year just for the pies! fruit of the Forest is the best I have ever tasted!!!!!!
